Beware Beauty

It was a few hours before the storm hit that the awesome designer called me over to see this handsome beauty hanging around the eaves

She had woven her web from overhang to overhang and trapped more than a few biting bugs in the process

Not far away another spider was patiently awaiting its prey. A reminder to us all to beware of beautiful, ruthless hunters - they have only their own interests at heart.

Spiders are so elegant and such...

Kiss of the Spider Woman! That one is beautiful and deadly, too.

You seriously ought to give up blogging and become a professional photographer. Then The Guy might be able to give up his day job to follow his real passion - like roofing? Add insects to your list of fabulous photos. You cetainly make the spider look better than it does (or did) in real life.

There is a great big spider web outside my front door. I haven't look too closely at the spider though. I figure we can respect each others space.
