iphone+modernemama=a steep learning curve

I'm still getting to grips with the iphone. Mostly it's my own stupidity. Example #1: It was an unseasonal 65F when I got my phone and I checked the weather with it to see what the rest of the week would be like. 58-64 all week long, how nice! So I was a little surprised when I went outside without a coat and found I was freezing. Why would the iphone lie? Because idiot me still had the weather on the default page, Cupertino, California, that's why. Then there was the time I emailed a gazillion people unwittingly including my phone number as part of the message. Luckily it won't be a problem because a) I don't contact many psychos b) no one reads my messages anyway and c) because, although I downloaded the truphone app and I can make calls from the dead zone that is our house using VoIP, I still can't receive calls that way. Plus ├ža change, plus c'est (presque) la meme chose.
On the positive side I triple heart the apps store. I'm famously cheap so I've only downloaded the free apps but did you know there's a Cocktails App? Happy times. I no longer need GPS because the in-built map is so awesome (it knows where the dead zone is: right over my house) and the quality of the screen for youtube viewing has to be seen to be believed. And the ipod part? The biggest reason I got this phone was because my old 2nd generation ipod could no longer hold a charge and I can't be without music. Well, to be truthful I've been so busy playing with the rest of it I haven't actually listened to the selection of tunes I downloaded from the imac but if the sound quality if this song is anything to go by I think it'll be just fine.
The biggest challenge for me (and, incidentally, The Guy) isn't anything to do with the iphone itself. It's actually remembering to TAKE THE IPHONE WHEN WE LEAVE THE HOUSE!
