It's not often a wall covering reminds me of chocolate, and never before have I had Proustian moment while looking at home decor but I stumbled upon this gorgeous wallpaper from Graham and Brown called Hemingway Macintosh Rose. I have no idea why it's called Macintosh Rose when it was inspired by Cadbury's Roses but I suppose 4lb tin of chocolates that we gorged ourselves sick on every Xmas wasn't snappy enough.

When I looked at the picture before I read your post, I said....ohhhh MacKintosh Rose....

The rose on the Cadbury's Roses tin is a Macintosh rose - so I guess that's the whole inspiration thing.
But Charles Rennie Macintosh means this chair to me. It's perfection.
Great Chair... I also love all the white he used in his furniture. Besides the Rose, the white clean lined furniture always says MacKintosh to me.
I love that silver piece of furniture. There is something about it. It reminds me of something from my childhood. Something that was spray painted silver. it makes me want to go out and find a piece of furniture to spray paint silver :)
Me too, but I want to silver leaf it and then burnish it and at that point it would possibly be cheaper to buy the dresser.
