One more thing to do today...

Charlie over at Charlie's Design Diary tagged me to answer this meme. I don't normally (EVER) do this sort of thing - sorry about that recipe chain that was making the rounds through the Incorporated Village, it stopped at me - but I'll make an exception because Charlie's blog is gorgeous. It's all about Finland and design. Go over and see what a nice American girl is doing in the Frozen North.

What did you do 10 years ago?
Wonky things in Bruxelles. Campaigning on workers' rights for an NGO in International Development.

Five items on your to-do list today:
1. Finish this post
2. Stay as cool as possible (it's 90F out there at 10.00 AM - the dog days of Spring)
3. Write a piece about copper panels
4. Watch this video again while singing this song.
5. Jump in Pool

Snacks I enjoy:
Does an ice cold, extra dry Gin Martini with three olives count as a snack?

What would you do if you were a billionaire?
I was going to get rid of all the lobbyists in Washington but I think Barak Obama has that covered. I'd also like to give everyone is the USA affordable healthcare but I think he's on his way there too. What's left? Oh yes, education. Where every child gets the same amount spent on them for their education no matter where they live and college doesn't cost the equivalent of buying a home. Of course the billion dollars wouldn't cover it but I'd have some financial clout to do something.
On a less altruistic note:
1. Finish the renovations on the house
2. Go on vacation somewhere I have never been. Indonesia, maybe or Japan.
3. Buy this car
4. Help Mr Jobs to his next billion by buying one of these and one of these.
5. I'd also get this so I could have my mind blown. That's what all the reviews promise and and I'd like to know what that feels like.

Places I would live:

1. Vancouver: beautiful scenery, great food, fantastic people
2. Anywhere in the Bourgogne, Rhone-Aples or Languedoc-Roussillon regions of France: the wine! the food!
3. San Sebastien in Spain: the wine! the food!
4. Brussels: the surrealness, the food, the politics, the food again
5. Manhattan: oh I'm sure you've got it by now

Bloggers I am passing the challenge onto are:

So here's where it all falls apart. Or maybe not. I challenge any other the authors in My Blog Addiction (to the left of this post) and anyone else who's reading this to share with the internets. Then leave me a comment here telling me where I can READ ALL ABOUT YOU.

The necessary:
Answer the above questions about yourself. At the end of the post you pass on the questions to 6 other bloggers and list their names. Then write them a comment telling them that they've been tagged and ask them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know that you've accepted the challenge and refer to your post.

Thank you for the props! I really hope you get many billions because I believe that for once important issues will be addressed! I want that car! Wow!
