Antique shopping online

If I had unlimited funds I'd spend a good chunk of it on unique vintage furniture. As I don't, I spend an obscene amount of time window-shopping online.
One of my favourite resources, 1stdibs, the antiques portal and source of much design insporn has a slick new website with bloggy articles about dealers, designers, and furniture. As usual it abounds with interesting objets. Enjoy!

An equally fine site is www.bondandbowery.com , which presents its offerings in a less cluttered fashion and has much better search functionality. I've had a number of other designers refer me to the site. Enjoy!

  2. I'm always afraid to open my by-subscription 1stDibs email - when I get it I know I'm in for a good ten-fifteen minutes of pure coveting. Everything is just so good.

pretty n pink sounds like an ad for bond and boory, I have been on that site, its pretty weak. Looks like a place for all of the dealers rejected by 1stdibs.

  4. I've gone to a few of the stores that are on 1stdibs...at the actual stores the items seemed to be about 35%+ off of what's listed on here...and of course you can dicker from there...

Yet, still out of my budget! LOL

Online shopping is the best way to get antique and unique products.
