I just found your blog... looking for a beach house to rent this summer for my family. Its a terrible task, only because its so overwhelming and most of what I find are condos! Any suggestions?
Becky: it is fantastic but in the interests of full disclosure I live on the north shore which is the Sound between New York and Connecticut. The ocean is the south side of the island but it's all wonderful.

ReplyDeleteany day next week or the week after works for me.
ReplyDeleteworms!!! oh man, why did you do that to me?
ReplyDeletebeautiful shells-- a walk on the beach with your camera seems to be a perfect way to honor Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteworms are very eco-friendly - it's not like it was a snake... you didn't click, did you?
ReplyDeleteNadine - do you know hard it is to walk two big dogs and hold the camera steady?
ReplyDeleteHah, no but I'd love to see a youtube video of it next time!
ReplyDeleteI had to giggle @ this one. Dreamy shots of water, shells.....then a reality shot of worms.

ReplyDeleteThe Jersey Shore? Try Shore Vacations.
Fire Island NY? Try Fire Island rentals.
Loved the shell pic.
ReplyDeleteThe worms...not so much!lol
Guess they are good for the environment though.
How neat to live near enough to the ocean to visit it regularly.
Love being inspired by nature. There is nothing more simple or sweet in a day!
